Feeling tired from the city buzz and rush? Come and enjoy peace and calm at our guest house "Kamenes"! Less than an hour drive from Riga Center you’ll be able to enjoy sea breeze and birds songs, as well as get your stomach happy with a bite of freshly smoked fish and forget about your everyday routine!
We are a family owned guesthouse and offer 4 separate, 2-floor self-catering apartments for vacation rentals where families with or without kids will find the desired comfort and relaxation.
Our guesthouse consists of 4 apartments with separate entrances. Each apartment has two floors. Apartments differ in size - from 39 to 56 square meters.
Ground floor consists of fully-equipped kitchen (gas stove, cutlery, refrigerator), living area with dinner table and sofa, as well as bathroom with shower. In 2 out of 4 apartments there are small wood stoves available in order to make your stay comfortable even on a colder day.
Upper floor area is dedicated to sleeping or resting. Each apartment comfortably sleeps up to 4 people. You can get an extra bed upon request.
For those who are seeking for some additional activities other than the beach, we suggest discovering nearby lake Kaņieris (3km) which is widely popular of it’s rich bird population of various species. There is also a newly built footbridge that leads through reeds across part of the lake as well as bird watching tower.
Guest house is located in Ķemeri National Park. Next to the guest house there is a modern track and field stadium where it is possible to play football and beach volleyball and do many other sports.
We also recommend to visit nearby cultural sites like Jaunmoku palace (40 km), Šlokenbeka Manor and Latvian Road Museum (23km), a cinema village "Cinevilla" (37km), or visit our capital city Riga (47km) or the popular beach resort Jūrmala (10km).
