Guest house “Ragakrasts” is located right next to the coastal meadow – only 2 such meadows are located on the Latvian coastline.

The meadow is a nesting place for dozens of bird species and a home of wildlife animals.

Swimming spots are just 250 meters away, right by the meadow. A beautiful white sand beach is located at a 2 km distance.

From each holiday house you can enjoy the sea and meadow view. “Ragakrasts” is a great place to enjoy a peaceful stray for up to 20 guests.

Facilities are located in private housing area on 4,500 square meter territory. Two bikes are available for the guests free of charge.

Neighbourhood information

Mersrags tourism information centre will guide you through a variety of activities and places of interest, for example,– the Mersrags lighthouse, the Rocky cape, wooden Baptist church, local museum, SUP and bike rent, and other places of interest and activities. Active guests should check out the hiking trail “Jurtaka” – the longest trail that allows to walk from Lithuania to Estonia – is located by the guest house. Mersrags canal, Northern pier and Engure lake are great sightseeing objects and places for fishing.

The national park of Engure lake located in Berzciems is a “must see” location with beautiful wild horses and cows. Local cafe “Vetras Putns” will offer a variety of local fish and other dishes.
