Place for vacation 100 m to the dunes “MIKJĀŅU SĒTA”: holiday cottages, campping

Recreation and camping site Mikjāņu sēta is located close to the shore of the Baltic Sea (approximately 100-150m from the beach), within territory of Pape Nature Park and historic cultural monument Papes Ķoņu ciems (historical fishermen village). Mikjāņu sēta offers opportunities of peaceful relaxation — enjoying sunrises and sunsets by the sea, swimming and sunbathing on the beach, searching for pieces of amber on the shore after a windy night, hiking the trails of the Nature Park, visiting open-air museum (fishermen household Vītolnieki), fishing in the sea or Pape lake (located nearby), picking mushrooms, watching birds and animals and enjoying other opportunities, which Pape Nature Park has to offer.

Therecreation centre and camping site Mikjāņu sēta is an object of cultural heritage – a valuable part of historic cultural monument Papes Ķoņu ciems due to its traditional historic layout and buildings. Mikjāņu sēta is open for all visitors during the summer months.

Mikjāņu sēta offers tourists:

 

The guest house is located 100-150m from the beach. It’s a historical building (former granary, built in 1913) with thatched roof and is suitable for occupation during late spring, summer and early autumn. The guest house offers 3 rooms and a kitchen. There are 3 beds in the largest room and 5 beds in both of the other rooms together. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove and tableware. Free Wi-Fi is avaible. 

Water, dry-toilets and shower for guests, who stay in the guest house, are available in a separate place within the territory of Mikjāņu sēta.

Pets are not allowed.

 

Wood and reed tiny camp house for 4 persons is located 100m from the beach. 2 small rooms, each room has 2 double beds, blankets and pillows. Mini kitchen equipped with electric kettle, fridge, gas stove and tableware. 

Free Wi-Fi.

Water, toilets and showers for guests, who stay in the camp house, are available in separate place within theterritory of Mikjāņu sēta.

Pets are allowed.

 

Caravans for 2-3 persons is located 100m from the beach. 2 beds, equipped with blankets and pillows, electric kettle, fridge, electric stove and tableware.

Free Wi-Fi.

Water, toilets and showers for guests, who stay in the caravans, are available in separate place within the territory of Mikjāņu sēta.

Pets are allowed.

 

Campsite is located 50 -100m from the beach. We position ourselves as a quiet campsite. From 22:00 it is strictly prohibited to make any kind of loud noises – loud music, screaming, running car engines etc.
